We had a great inaugural season this fall for The Picture House Film Club, at which we showed “Kill the Messenger,” “St. Vincent,” “Laggies,” “Nightcrawler,” “The Imitation Game” – and offered an evening with director Tom DiCillo, who screened his film “Living in Oblivion.”

The Winter Season starts February 4, 2015 – and there are only about 50 seats left, so don’t be left out.

Meanwhile, we’ve got several special preview screenings coming up at The Picture House, starting with:

HV1

“Happy Valley,” 7:30PM Thursday November 13: Director Amir Bar-Lev will be on hand for a Q&A after an advance screening of this compelling and provocative documentary about the late Joe Paterno and the Penn State sex scandal.

VosBonnie2

“Women Aren’t Funny,” 7:30PM Monday November 17: Director Bonnie McFarlane and producer Rich Vos – the two married comedians who made this movie – will be on hand for a Q&A after the screening of this funny and incisive documentary.
